This early 1900's 980 square foot guest house off Dixon Ave. in Charlevoix had been neglected for years
until it's new owners, Dan & Patty Passman decided to bring back it's architectural style and charm.
It features southern yellow pine floors, open joists on the second floor, bead board and vintage yellow
cabinets with built in under counter refrigerators. It also has an open trellis entry & porch with
reclaimed pine boards from the existing cottage.
We added full length dormers on each side which created two bedrooms, two baths, and a bunk niche that sleeps two in the loft. The exterior was also brought back to its original architectural style with 8'' lap siding and white cedar shingles in the gables. |
